A reference in natural and organic cosmetics since 2002 and a founding member of the international COSMOS standard, the Cosmébio association completed its services in 2017 by creating Cosmécert, its certification subsidiary.
THE ORIGIN OF COSMECERT

Behind the creation of Cosmécert is a desire. The desire to offer an alternative on the natural and organic cosmetic certification market.

For us, certification should not be a barrier but a competitive factor for the cosmetics industry, accessible to the everyone in compliance with the standard.

Our auditors know your domain. Before joining Cosmécert, they held positions in formulation and regulation.
They rely on these skills to offer you a global approach to certification, from auditing to labelling.
Our certification work is carried out according to the international COSMOS standard,
mandatory since January 1, 2017 for any new product
and founded by 5 European references in natural and organic cosmetics:
BDIH, Cosmébio, Ecocert Greenlife, ICEA and Soil Association.

COSMÉCERT, THE FIRST FRENCH CERTIFYING BODY ACCREDITED BY COSMOS

Since November 2018, Cosmécert has been ISO 17065 / COSMOS accredited by International Organic and Sustainable Accreditation - IOAS.
​
A sort of certification for a certifier, this accreditation provides customers with a guarantee that the established quality procedures are respected, that the auditors are competent and that the structure is independent and impartial.
